About Me

Hi, I’m Emily!

My daughters give me the energy to take on the day's biggest adventures and motivate me to learn and grow as fast as they are while at the same time recognizing how important sleep is to our daily schedule and routine. And Then Nite Nite is inspired by my oldest daughter as she thrives off of routine and enjoys her nap more than any two year old I know! She will regularly announce when it is time for her nite nite and march into her room with confidence. Recently, while away at a birthday party that was coming to an end, Ella was reminding everyone that it was nap time by saying “and then nite nite.” It made everyone chuckle because they know how serious Ella is about her sleep. Trust in me and your child will be asking for their next nite nite too.

Before our daughters were born, I was a passionate educator for 10 years including Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grade teacher and assistant principal. My educational belief is that all children have the ability to learn, grow and succeed if given individualized support, a conducive environment and a teacher who believes in them. This philosophy could not be more accurate when transitioning into the world of sleep consulting. It is also my belief that every baby can succeed with my committed 1:1 approach, adjustments to their sleep environment/schedule, and my confidence in knowing that they can be good sleepers.

This leads me to share that I am here to blend my two passions of being a mom and educator together. Sleep consulting has given me the opportunity to channel the talents that are deep within me and I used as a teacher to continue my learning in an area that has become so important to my family.

I am here to share with you how beneficial sleep can be to your family, too!
